Is there any reliable PSU calculators out there or is buying a KILL A WATT the best solution.

7 threads prime 95 and Scanner X stress testing GPU and 4 fans turned up

Look up reveiws that come close to your components. Sometimes you have to look up more than one review....

What components are you talking about? Maybe we could take an educated guess...

    BUT:
IF you want to know what YOUR computer is consuming you have to measure YOUR computer.

Yeah. That build probably isn't going to need bigger than a 500W.

Personally, I'd do 7 threads of Prime and Furmark, but I bet the results would be around the same.

I will be playing around with different testing and see.
    Prime 95 7 threads and Fur Mark v 1.82 stress test = 449 watts
Parting ways with my old unit on 3/15 and the RM1000 that was offered in trade is too big.

I always buy locally and my choices for the new PS are.
    FRY's AX 750 $149 or AX 850 $169
    Microcenter CM V700 $149 or V850 $179
    Limited stock at both places

no need to go for a 750W, if you don't want a second graphics card...
It's just a waste of money...

    Buy a better 500-600W instead...

Not many choices locally on units I would buy.

The 760I I have is a fine unit but I do not like the Red bulky cables and I can get a decent amount for it.

I could sell just the red braided cables but would need to buy a new cable set since the only stock cables I have actually went with a AX860 not the AX760i
I traded for this supply with the red individual sleeved and got the black set of 860 stock cables in the deal.
I also sold my original supply AX850 with the white cables after I traded for the 760i
