Default Replacing Seasonic Power supply (But keeping cables?)

So Im about to replace my x-750 Seasonic with another seasonic power supply.....thing is my cable situation is very neat right now, and I really don't want to change it.

Can I just replace the power supply unit, but keep the modular cables where they are and plug it back into the new seasonic unit? Will it cause any issues?

The way I figure....the cables should still be in good condition and I figure useable? They are only 3 years old?

Plus this means I won't have to redo my cable management situation!

    Thanks!

(P.S. nothing is wrong with the PSU, I am just going to replace it with a higher wattage platinum one)

You need to say which two Seasonic units are involved (exact model numbers) for anyone to be able to tell you that.

Actually, the best bet is to ask Seasonic tech support Directly.

I have several, and I freely swap around my SATA and Molex cables. I label each ATX24 cable so it is PSU-specific. So far, my EPS cables have also been interchangeable.

So your idea is fine, but do ask Seasonic.
