Question XFX Core Pro 850w - 'noisy' fan.

    Hi all!

So I have this XFX Core Pro 850w ... and lately it's fan is somewhat noisy - it's not too bad, but the noise is at a particular frequency which is really getting to me.

I want to change the fan (never mind warranty) ... to my knowledge the unit uses an Adda 135mm fan rated at ~80cfm and 32db (!).

I just can't seem to find a 135mm fan thou' ... so what fan would you ppl recommend. I was thinking of trying to fit in a 140mm fan ... or a 120mm and hold it in place with cable ties! Or do you actually know where i can get a 135mm from?

In any case - can you also let me know if i need a PWM fan - or just a simple DC fan?

    Cheers all!

140mm fan should work. People tend to use "135mm", "138mm", etc. instead of 140mm because Super Flower patented the use of 140mm fans in power supplies WAAAY back in the day and people are afraid of getting sued if they do the same (or say they do the same).
