    Default X2 Brisbane

    I've had the chance to play with a X2 4000+ in the last few days, and I have to say, it's really not worth it if your "upgrading" from a s939 X2

    Here's a little diddy on the AM2 X2 Brisbane

    There won't be a K8L. IIRC the next one is called K9 officially (or either K10).

    Whats wrong with the 4000? Its been OC'd to 3.2GHz that I recall on AMD forums. :blink:

    I never said there was anything "wrong" with the 4000+ It's a great little proc for some one running Netburst or a AXP build{462/478}
    Just having to go from DDR to DDR2 + buying a AM2 mobo is not justified IMAO for one who is already running s939

    But but AM3 is coming out soon

    Yes with DDR3

    AMD is rushing to throw DDR3 into the market. You could get DDR2 bandwidth with DDR by running dual channel... well myself, me, I'm waiting for the Barcelona

    Yeah, it's getting harder for me "not" to defect over to the Darkside
