    Default 3 card crossfire 4k

    http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/...radeon-hd-7970

About the middle they point out that a 750 watt PSU was being taxed.

Confirms my stated contention that 750 watt is good for any average 2 card rig. (3 or 4 cards and you need to be looking at the 850 through 1200 watt units)

I guess the Microsoft engineers should read our forums before making technology demonstrations.

Well, nVidia is doing much better job at it, according to FCAT tests (Tom's, PCPer). Prototype driver showed improvement too, but I do not know about a fix in official drivers.

Not completely, but it is much better than before.

    It's an ongoing fix.

But still, Microsoft is mostly at fault, because the scheduler granularity also may have an impact on this matter...
Besides, there are other problems as well with a multi gpu setup, besides asymmetrical frametimes...

So the buttom line is: AFR isn't good, mGPU isn't good either, untill it's really fixed, wich may take a while, with both manufacturers...

And it seems there are some measures against µstuttering in the D3D11.2 update...
But the developers still have to use those...
