    still too much though. at least in terms of $ to gigabytes.

    On Topic: These Raptors are in store purchases at BB, probably one of my least favorite places to go. The 74gb is $102. This is the cheapest I have ever seen these HDDs new.

    How is it a waste of money? They usually go for just under 2x that.

    I looked at the website and couldn't tell, is this the OEM version or retail? For some reason I was thinking BB didn't sell OEM versions of stuff in the store.

    I wouldn't be suprised if you could find one for cheaper on the 'egg. I'll check that right now out of pure curiousity, and report my findings.

    Without looking I can guess that it is $229 with a $30 discount.
