    Default Newton r3 good choice?

Hi! I bought a xfx 650w psu that I thought sounded too high so I am now looking for a new one. Is newton r3 600w a good choice for me if I want a high quality psu that is very silent? Or is there a better choice for me?

    Thanks!

What is your budget and where are you buying from?
Also, what will you be powering with it?

My budget is maximum the price newton r3 is priced at, no need of talking values since everyone lives in different places . It will be powering a 2500k, 7950, a hdd & ssd and 8GB ram.

Hence why I asked about your desired purchasing location. Link some shops so we can see what's on offer and at what prices.

Oh sorry for that, I will be buying at www.inet.se so say around 1200SEK or 120 euros.

In that case I would suggest the BeQuiet! P10 550W or the Fractal Design Newton R3 600W that you initially chose, personally I would opt for the P10, it's a very complete product and it is really quiet.

R3 is semi fanless, P10 is not, but it still pretty much inaudible from a meter away under typical loads. I know, because I've actually listened to it in such settings.

P10 also has a fan controller built-in for external fans.

I'd take the be quiet! P10.
