Maybe a unit that can also have good efficiency at low loads? This can have 'green marketing' on it as computers mostly idle with low power draw.

A bit of useless trivia, but apparently high end server power supplies use the PCB as the transformer. Neat, huh? And they're spec'd for 90% at 50% as well.

Recently I bought a 9600GT OC (BFG).

Upon installation into my computer, it immediately emitted a high pitched squealing (on power up).

I tried switching PCI-E plugs (my PSU has two of them)...

I don't really like reviews that nitpick for too many little things.

For example, BenchmarkReviews docked points off the 4870 review because it had 'exposed capacitors' which can be pushed around....
