The only small weak point i see in the AXi is the cheap YL fan compared to the delta AFB in the HCP 850, wich seems to be much more trustworthy. Still not a reason to swap PSUs though probably :p

Nah, it's louder under full load, but using the same load they are +- the same. Matter of fact, according to bq the 850W Version is quieter at 50% load (10.2dba) than the 550W version at 20% load...
