They use games for full load though. Power viruses like Linpack + Furmark or OCCT:PSU can take you further usually.

And I was talking about OC with significant voltage bumps.

This would be realistic for OC'd i5 K and 280x from the wall under heavy loads.

FXs obviously can draw more than that.

Unless you plan on LN2 or alike cooling, connectors are a non-issue when it comes to OC in this case, and how far individual GPU can go (luck of the draw) plays a much bigger role.
