XFX version has 4 PCI-E connectors, but I doubt fan is any better.

FWIW, most Seasonic's PSUs are pretty loud under load, even X-series ramp up rather aggressively.

It's also significantly better PSU than S12II/M12II x20W...

SS-860XP2 has only four PCI-E connectors (http://www.seasonicusa.com/Platinum_Series_XP2.htm), so it can be crossed off from that list. 1000W one has 6 though.
