They've had off days before. They did a unit for NZXT which didn't review well at all. (I forget the exact model tho). Also, the Antec Truepower Trio failed Jonny's hotbox at the crossload test.

Well, FWIW, my HX750 is CWT and has served me faithfully for a whole 5 years and 8 months. So even if it's the only CWT PSU that I ever owned, I can't say that I'm not impressed with them.

A digital multimeter (DMM) is usually the best of the simpler ways to measure voltages. If you can borrow one, or even just buy one (they are dirt cheap), it can tell you stuff with more certainty.

The 500W version should have Teapos in it. At least if you go by the TPU review. It's the 600W one that has Su'scon crapacitors. But it sounds like it's on the fritz anyway.

I'm gonna say it's Delta, because the specs look like a Chieftec PSU I had once and that one was had the "GPS" designation and was made by them.

Edit: Also, the UL number E131881 returns Delta,...

If you already have the AX860i and as you say, you've not experienced any of the problems you mention, I wouldn't bother with the hassle of returning the Corsair and getting the Antec. I think...

Yeah, it's why I was a bit disappointed there were no internal shots, I wanted to see if any have bulged or leaked. But perhaps it would have been mentioned if that was the case.

Well, although I agree that their lower end products are now questionable (at least looking at what they charge for them) you can't write off their entire PSU lineup. It's not for no reason that...

The CX series really isn't "bugdet" anymore. Way too expensive for that. I can get the equivalent wattage XFX ProSeries XXX modular for a bit of extra pocket change here.
