What I glean from your response is that we should replace SATA while we're replacing Molex.

Forgive me if my info is incorrect, but I thought one could push more amps through a Molex than through a SATA.

The Seasonic-made video shows that the "hub" is connected to the PSU by a modular cable. The accompanying text says the modular end cables are shorter than normal. This raises the question: if one...

I used to do something similar in my reviewing days. I had a lot of Molex-Molex adapters (they came from fans). Simply remove the 12V line, and if necessary move the 5V line. When you have a Molex...

Oklahoma Wolf did a review of that PSU on this website in 2009. I remember it because that review caused me to buy the blue LED version of that PSU. The original had trouble -- it was 2010 so I don't...

Are we to suppose that people in India are satisfied with 1100W input (5W x 220V) since nobody needs that much (/sarcasm)?

Some people clean their IHS's with alcohol. Although the recommended wipe is coffee filters (lintless and inexpensive), there are some benighted souls who use TP for cleaning up their TIM.

I suspect by TP you men 'thermal paste,' but I always thought of TP as an initialism for 'toilet paper.' I've seen thermal interface material referred to as TIM.

I don't know about that, but a long time ago someone advocated putting 12v together with -12v to get 24v. Never tried it, myself.

Edit: but occasionally fan-makers got 7v by combining 12v and 5v....

Funny. I always thought that AIO developers had picked the best fans for the purpose. As for quietness: it depended on the AIO. A single-fan AIO would at best cool even with a heatsink. This was...

Having tested both heatsinks and AIO's, I must take issue with the 'AIO's are quieter' message; they are not. An AIO merely moves the heat transfer from next to the CPU (heatsinks) to a remote...

What you are describing is close to the setup I used to test heatsinks: I had an i7 8700k OC'd to 5.0GHz with AVX2 enabled. The software was the LinX 0.6.5 frontend for Linpack. The Vcore was 1.37v...
