Seasonic fanboys who used Japanese caps as "argument" are now in a bit of a pickle
Looking at this PSU in general, I wouldn't be surprised if that thing on the exhaust was purely decorational and wouldn't actually participate in any cooling
And sometimes they are pretty audible right off the bat.
We can tell from the pictures it's a group regulated unit, and that automatically means it's low-end by today standards.
As above, review isn't needed after learning that, unless you want to learn...
With scope sure can.
With DMM it's useless since you don't even know what waveform looks like and if measurement p-p would be some transient spike or actual pulsation (and what frequency). You get...
Reviews and test results of non-group regulated units surely don't show anything like that.
Would probably be better to post that "something beefier" config instead of leaving others to guess
Whisper, because G2 is not very quiet.
Literally a "Seasonic Rep"
Depends on components used and fan controller curve. As for former, if higher powered version uses higher capacity components, it probably won't get as hot at same load.
Didn't you say some time ago that non-modular CX is a bit cheaper to make because it uses LLC?

This is the correct answer.
Not sure how would anyone say there is no difference when these are two unrelated things. Remember...
With FX-6300 it still might not be meaningful, even if new card is a lot faster on paper.
GQ may not be newest and greatest but it's still perfectly modern DC-DC based platform, not lagging behind competition significantly (only maybe in some % vreg numbers or mVs of ripple which are very...
Don't worry about that review too much, as you're not gonna be even close to overloading that PSU anyways.
Well then, China has some of the most impressive track record of poverty reduction in history since their pro-trade/market reforms in 80s, with most poor still living in rural areas, so consumerism...
LOL, what a useless unit. And priced as much as decent 750W ones? RIP
I think he alluded to it quite clearly here:
There are reports of 2080Ti's in particular (but all RTX can be affected) failing after 2 weeks or so. Probably faulty batch of VRAM is to blame.
That's more of Asus issue rather than AMD issue.
^You mean "pull from the wall" lol.
NEVER connect/disconnect any PSU connectors in your PC while PSU is running.
That's absolute.
I don't think it's powerful enough for 9900K + 2080Ti in the first place, esp. with OC included.
P11 is good, though a bit pricey. Corsair RMx or Bitfenix Whisper are cheaper alternatives which...
LMAO, I read today on some forum that DC-DC doesn't matter, and often even performs worse than group reg units, because many factories don't use proper capacitances, so PSUs don't work properly. That...
Meh, most of the negative reviews are people complaining about things like DOA or coil whine, which can happen for every PSU.
