It's a lot better than System Power, and quieter...

It's a lot better than System Power, and quieter as well. In fact it's the quietest unit you can have for the price.

Electrically, it's roughly on par with CX, S12II and alike units.

I think they meant 25A with heavy OC, then possibly. Without OC, it's certainly nowhere near that.

Your PSU is fine, except perhaps heaviest OC scenarios.

Poorly configured OTP is actually a hindrance and there have been cases of units shutting down in legitimate (when they could've run just fine otherwise) circumstances due to this.

Some specific APFC circuits can, some cannot. This isn't so cut and dry. Again, xbitlabs has been doing UPS compatibility testing for a while and results are free to check in specific PSU reviews.
