Yeah. LTEC aren't highly regarded, but Delta usually gets away with it, even though they often fail in PSUs from other brands.

btw, LTEC stands for Luminous Town Electric Company. I sometimes joke...

Where do you plan on buying your parts from? For most people, the The Seasonic G-series or a derivative thereof (Antec Edge or Truepower Classic, XFX XTR, Fractal Edison) is an excellent option.

Oh, "Deer" Me. It's not a copy of a Deer, it is a Deer (now Solytech). It would probably manage 250W in spec, though, - until the caps go bad.

I have to say, I do find the comments over the last few reviews about the ATX connectors interesting. My Evo Blue 2.0 750W has a Ribbon ATX. It's actually much less stiff and much easier to manage...

My rule is half a point per 20% under it's rating per rail (plus the usual half a point for being higher than half the maximum). Although the overload and crossload tests don't count. I only take all...

I really don't know what the fan curve is like, as it was Pavel, not me did the load testing. It's basically his review. It's also interesting to note that his one was run at a cooler Ambient...

Behemot here sells Chemi-con KZN 3300uF 16V in 10mm diameter. The ESR is just ever so slightly higher (at least when comparing similar can sizes in the datasheets), but it's so darn close, that I...

The G-Series kind of looks to have similar quirk with ripple as some of the SF leadex based PSUs had.

I've load tested plenty of 5yr old PSUs, and even some 10 year old PSUs. As long as the caps haven't gone bad in them, the ripple is usually well within spec. In fact, that Auriga unit I tested in...
