Generally BB longevity isn't much of an issue. Potentially making some bearing noise @very low rpm, when fan should otherwise be pretty much inaudible OTOH may be one.

I could agree but I still find the PCB underside very ugly (though probably penalized enough), and for the 10 on performance, while justifiable I still think a PSU worthy of a perfect score needs to return perfect 12v regulation (before anything else), and this didn't.

Having just cleared Gold rating with maximum error tolrance, mediocre low level efficiency and the regulation.. That combined should knock off half a point on the performance.. I think it's a great product in all, but it doesn't deserve a top score in performance since it's not performing "tops".
