No the OEM is CWT, platform is GPK.

Can you point out any decent 550-600W unit, with substantially better caps and a street price around 49 euros (or 55 dollars)?

Sure
Delta 500QB (all Japanese, though special form factor and not widely available)
Arctic Fusion 550RF (should be OST)
EVGA 500B (Should be Teapo Secondarys).
Jou Jye 520W (interestingly I've found reviews with full japanese caps)
Antec VP500 (Well, should be Delta, so pretty low cost mix)
Thermaltake Germany Series (Su'scon secondarys)
FSP Hexa (CapXon or Teapo)

There's a whole bunch of them and absolutely no need to go for JunFu...

There's no Antec VP500 by Delta - there's VP500P by FSP (APN), VP500PC (CWT GPA), and VP500P V2 (FSP Hyper), perhaps you meant the Antec VP550F by Delta?

Thermaltake Germany are now bog-standard CWT GPK (like the Cooler Master The_Mask reviewed now) - JunFu included :)

I'd add XFX TS 550W Bronze to the list, depending on the store it would fit (sometimes barely) in the price range.

So it doesn't apply.

Really? Haven't it found out of specs on some reviews (HardwareSecrets, JonnyGURU...)?

But CapXon primary (not a big leap over the JunFu primary, I guess).

Unfortunately I didn't find it: the lowest price I found is the one reported by TechPowerUp!'s review (full jap e-caps), 113 dollars (with vreg out of specs on CL1 test).

Ltec, we know.

Set aside what Orion pointed out, it also showed some weird figures as the 100mV ripple (Philip's review): doesn't that matter?

If you're referring to the current Hexa+ 500, it might be interesting, though it's still group regulated (and noisy).

Well, among the ones you quoted, apparently the only ones which seems to apply are the FSP Hexa+ 500, the Antec VP550F (with the usual Ltec caveat), and probably the EVGA 500B (whether the 85C primary CapXon doesn't matter): I mean, not so many, but there are a few options, aren't there?

I think it shouldn't apply to this "dirty'n'virtual" comparison, Orion: at least, currently I am unable to find it under 66 USD or 71 euros.

In that budget there are few non-group regulated options. Antec VPF and Cooler Master GM being common ones. Maybe a few older Sirfa Bronze units here and there (like OCZ ZS leftovers or High Power branded). The latter also seem to have a nice cap selection.

Perhaps cheapest 360W model of Seasonic G just fits into the budget too, depending on store.

Shouldn't it be GPM? Like the Corsair VS, rather than GPK like the Sharkoon WPM v2?

Reason why I had asked is because someone bought up that the Corsair VS has no OTP which the Sitronix ST9S429-PB14A IC doesn't have. So I was wondering if it could have been implemented in another way, which bought me to one of your post upon my research. http://www.jonnyguru.com/forums/show...74&postcount=5

Could be, difference is probably universal input vs 230V only.
