GTX 480 Still a Good GPU today?
Well guys I pucked up a gtx480 for about 100 $ and wanted to know where does it stand in today's games..

And is it better than a gtx660( non TI ) in gaming regardless of power consumption and Noise..:D

+/- the same performance as GTX660, maybe a tad slower.

Then where can we see the difference between the 384 bit memory bus vs the 192 bit on the gtx660?

Possibly in very high resolutions and with antialiasing.

Louder, hotter and more power draw than the 660, but you won't get a 660 for that money. And you'll see the difference if you play any games that have lots of big textures to load, that 384 bit bus will move data around much quicker.

Piece of shit today, as the power consumption is enorumous, the 3D Power is not.

That's a bit extreme. Yes I agree it's not efficient, but for the price paid, it'll beat any card he could have bought for the same money. Compared to the 660, if the OP already has one, it's not such a great card, working out to be slightly less powerful overall according to various benchmarks around the web (google is your friend here).

Yea I agree with allikat its best in price to performance ratio and inhave tested crysis 3 on both gtx480 and gtx660 from my friend on a 3770k and with all the filters on the gtx480 was ahead of gtx660 in almost 10 fps averaging

it's true about performance that 480 does good but drawing too much power i think it's not worth it
