Which CPU/Mobo combo is better for GTX 1070? i5-6600K + Z170 or i7-6700 + H110?
My main priority is gaming, but I also edit pictures often (Photoshop).

Since you do PS a lot, if you can move up to a i7-6700k you should. I have two comps a i7-4790k and an i5-6600k that my wife uses. Both have GTX 1080's and 32gb ram....DDR3 on the i7 and DDR4 on the i5. Using PS CC and same image and Smart Sharpen, the i7 applies the filter almost instantly...with the i5 it will take an additional 2-3 seconds.Quote:
