A primary reason is just for the number of "Office" PCs I have built in the past and relied upon independent reviews and customer feedback to get an idea of Hold-up Time and UPS compatibility. Two factors which are still a major wild-west of sorts among reviewers and (until now) completely absent from a standards-body.
Likewise, UPS manufacturers are unfortunately not like Motherboard manufacturers. So you don't get anything like the CPU or Memory QVL lists to ensure your purchase.
How do you comment on Hardforum? Got an account and have spent 10 minutes trying to figure it out.
What the author seems to forget, though, is that testing 1600+ load combinations, while its benefits may not appear to be "practical" as the author likes to say for efficiency, fan noise is also tested at those load levels, and I believe testing fan noise at more combinations is better than a few. But, the author does have some valid points and also points out some instances where he seems to have not received the answer he was looking for. Nonetheless, I don't see anything that could ever make Cybenetics worse than 80+. In my mind it's already significantly better, and if I was some uninformed person purchasing PSUs based only on badges I'd use a Cybenetics badge over an 80+ badge.

Generally speaking; HardOCP has been a great source for enthusiasts for years. The only thing to keep in mind with their reviews is that they're very colored in the opinions and criteria for perfection.Quote:
