I think my house has bad electricity?

I have antec Signature 850W PSU, my house dims for a short while when I turn on my PC or flick the switch on from off on the PSU.

When I have LANs at my house(running multiple pc) my wall plug area starts to make "TICK,TICK" sounds which is kind of scary, because it kinda sounds like something is sparking... Is this bad for my pc or my PSU? it seems to run fine but, I dont have those voltage detector thingy's to actually test out the rails.

Sounds like you need an electrician.

or an exorcist

I dont know... will it cost alot to bring the person in? will this damage my pc or psu at all?

Don't know - depends on where you live and what they charge.

Damage the PC? I'd be more worried about the house burning down.

well
it only happens when running 2 or more pc at the same time in same wall socket
it wont burn down because I wont be having a lan till I fix this issue.:( oh wellz

I agree with Wolf... Best be having someone look at it, it sounds as if you're definitely taking the circuit to a limit and possibly the box to...

It will really have adverse effects on your PC so hire some electrician to fix this problem

Actually, just because you aren't loading THAT receptacle does not mean you are safe. Other receptacles on that same branch circuit may be going through that outlet's terminations. You need an electrician ASAP or trip off the breaker for that branch, better yet.

I wouldn't take ANY chances. I used to do electrical work, I assisted a Master electrician and I've seen outlets catch fire right in front of me, outlets with NOTHING plugged in to them, but farther down the branch.

It's good you are asking people about this, it might save your home or even you and your neighbors.

An electrician can be quite expensive but if you want to go the exorcist route first they're normally free.
