I have using my new pc for few week, within this period it happen 5~6time my LCD display cut to half or total blank off. If total blank it show "Display Out Of Range". My MS Window still running well. The problem cannot recover even i restart my LCD. The only way is reset the resolution or reboot my pc.

I m using 19" viewsonic wide screen setting resolution 1440x900 60hertz refresh, graphic is leadtek 7300GT DDR3 256mb. I don't think this problem is cause by my LCD because same problem happen to my another Viewsonic 19" normal screen LCD with setting 1280x1024 60hetz when i connect to it.

So far this problem only happen when i watch movie using my pc like rmvb file or DVD with few different player. Normal operation like surf net, running application never happen.

Anyone know what the problem? How to solve this.

Yeah... that sounds like a driver issue to me.

And I can assume you're using the newest nVidia drivers?

Nope. Get your drivers from Nvidia.

Hmm....

And it only does it when you watch DVD's and it happens with multiple DVD playback software?

Hmm.... I'm at a loss.

What DVD decoder is being used? I have seen some issues in the past with the decoders. A lot of your DVD software will use the same decoder.

It happen for me to when watch .RMVB using Realplayer, stormplayer. It also happen before when i watch DVD using POWERDVD player.

Don't think is the file or player problem cause it nvr happen to me last time when i still using my PIII to watch this type of file.

It not happen every time. but when it happen the window display is cut to half(half side gone become blank in black), maybe right half, bottom half or more then half. Following is the sample i create.

I think i have success solve it. It is leadtek driver problem.

First time i install the latest nvidia driver i get without uninstall the existing leadtek driver so problem happen again. But after that i try uninstall the existing driver & install the nvidia driver again. After install & restart it asking me about my lcd supporting of HDTV i select no.(I select yes before & cause the out of range problem happen directly after i apply. so i have to uninstall & reinstall again the driver in window safe mood)

So far almost 1 week this problem nvr happen again. So i think i have solve it.
Thanks for help
