Got my 37" Westy Today!

I decided to go BIG, was a toss up between the Dell 30" and the Westy!
Decided on the Westy as my aging eyes prefer a bit bigger as opposed to fine display.

Monstrous. This thing is sick! 37 inches of 1920x1080p goodness. Now, just need my new 8800gtx equipt rig to arrive next week, and Ill be all set. That and I need a new desk bad now. Thinking about the Ikea Jerker. I'll post some pics once I have a desk setup as presentable. I will say though, this thing is amazing for even basic computer use, even with my old 9800 pro.

a 37 inch monitor on a desk? surely you jest? mount that sucker on a wall, get a wireless keyboard and mouse, and sit back in your recliner and have fun.

Yea..this thing is insanely huge, but the display is frickin crisp and delicious! Just boxed it for the moment tho =/
The machine I bought it to use with is not here yet, yes, I'm a gimp, I broke down and pd extra for someone else to customize it, for a change, I have more money and less patience dickering around with hardware today, and warranties are nice.

That and yes, I plan to have on a desk; wall mounting maybe down the road, but I love the look of the Ikea jerker, industrial, clean, strong, and has a nice wide top, so I can comfortably sit 3-4' back from the display.

I have a jerker and it's awesome, plenty of people use their 37"-42" westys on jerkers as well too.
