I know questions similar to this must get asked a lot so I'll apologize in advance, but I'm thinking for a power supply for a budget build I'm tempted to start building soon.

I'm planning on using:

Intel C2D E4300 (with as much overclock as I can get)
abit IN9 SLI (assuming it gets good reviews and overclockability)
nVidia 8800 GTS (will probably go with eVGA since they are relatively cheap and known to be a good company)
2-3 hard drives at most

I'm looking for a high efficiency, modular power supply. I would go with an Enermax Liberty, except the molex connectors on the SATA cables is a turn-off. I don't plan on using any IDE devices, as the price for optical SATAs are dropping, so I might as well just get into the habit of not using them.

I'm really interesting in paying close to $100 and less, are there any good recommendations?

Reminds me of Ken Jennings of Jeopardy fame..

Trebek: "This term for a long-handled gardening tool can also mean an immoral pleasure seeker.

Jennings: "What is a hoe?"

Trebek: "Whoa! Whoooa! Whoa! They teach you that in school in Utah, huh?"

Heh, yeah guys I don't mind being called a hoe--or even dirty hoe. The name comes from my days of owning in Shadowbane. It is a long story but since I couldn't use the word hoe in my name, I decided to just go by Gardentool. :)

Thanks for the recommendation so far, it looks like it's a lot better anyway. The only reason I'm asking for high efficiency is to cut down the electric bill somewhat, and since they are available now why not?

Would that Corsair be able to handle a 8800GTS SLI in the future? I doubt I'd ever spend the money on it but future proofing seems like the newest keyword with these DX10 cards.

Well gee Hoe,
With 40A on the +12V, I don't see why not;)

that term really means nothing in the computer world. By the beginning of summer there will be single cards as fast as two GTS's in SLI.

I know, I was attempting to joke about this popular term on certain other computing forums. I don't plan on doing a major upgrade once I get this computer together until maybe DX11, so I was just wondering when the 8800GTS come down to $200 or so a pop, if it could handle both of them.
