I want to upgrade my gaming machine by adding a Samsung SSD 256gb (http://www.vuugo.com/en/SSD/Samsung-256GB-25-SATA-30Gbs-SSD/MZ-7PA2560-0D1.aspx). I'm interested in Samsung mainly because of price. Since Samsung SSD is not popular in Canada but which is fairly popular in USA, is anybody using this particular SSD??? Could you share with me how you like it??? Thanks.

Can't tell from the description if it's a 370 series or a 410 series drive, both are reliable though.. however, if you're running a platform with native SATAIII you should go for a drive that offers competitive SATAIII performance, I'd suggest a Samsung 830 or a Corsair Performance Pro.

The M4 256GB is $370 CAD on NCIX (http://ncix.com/products/?sku=60446&vpn=CT256M4SSD2&manufacture=CRUCIAL%20TECHNOLOGY&promoid=1012). So that'd be a better option for a cheaper price.

Samsung's only venerable SSD line in the market right now; is the 830 Series.
