Hexus has what they are billing as exclusing pictures of the new Enhance-built Cooler Master RS-A00-EMBA 1000W power supply. Among other features it has 6 +12V rails at 18A each and 2 new PCI-E 8-pin connectors.
Looks pretty promising:

With that many connectors it needs to be modular.

One thing is for sure, I couldn't even fit that thing into my Sonata without serious problems fitting in the drives. As it is, I'm having problems with managing all the cables coming out of my GameXstream.

That is a lot of cables. :D
Looks like these Enhance 1kW units are showing up all over the place.
Is it a good thing to saturate the market with basically the same thing under a dozen brands?
I guess it's good for the customer because each of these guys are going to have to compete against the other with price. :D

Not only that, but it ensures that more quality power supplies are getting into the hands of more consumers.
Are there any pictures of the innards of one of these?

I have not looked for or seen internal pics.
Enhance.TW used to have this 1kW on thier site but only the 850W was there last week. (no internal pics at TW or USA)
Modular: Would increase the depth, increased cost and may have hindered cooling, not that most will drive this thing to > 700W.
The last I talked to the Enhance VP in charge of USA sales, he stated that Enhance was going to hold the Intel spec dear, hence 6 rails at 18A each.
I bet this unit will be loud because Enhance believes in moving air. It should be filled with Teapo caps and un-anodized, well finned heat sinks.
Note: Enhance is known for providing good but inexpensive power units. They are commonly found in ATMs, arcade / casino machines.
