There are some new processors out, variations anyway, the most interesting to me is an I3 2105 featuring the 3000 series video. This at $142 at newegg makes for enticing desktop/HTPC builds, a "missing ingredient".
I have never understood intel's two tier video on chip.
Too bad it doesn't appear on one of the dual core sub chips.
Well that is dual core; the 2500K is $179 and quad core; is it really wort saving $30 and 15 watts for the 2105 ?

That depends on what you plan on using it for.

If you want a 65 watt CPU instead of a 95 watt one.
If you can get a 2500K without tax, shipping or travel cost for $179 you are doing very well. For most people a 2500K IS $225 most of the time with excursions to $215 or $210.
An I3 2105 with a $ 10 discount at $132 with amd 955 performance dual core or not.
FWIW I saw a 2100 for $102 shipped.
I got an H67 board for $75 shipped, i can find nothing close in P67 or Z68 I'd want.
