Have P180's been coming with 25mm fans in the bottom now? Cause mine has one, and Antec pretty quickly shut down the customer support ticket I submitted on their site, saying "the fans were changed from the 38mm to the 25mm with no 38mm available." To me, this just means that the bin for the bigger fans was empty when they put my case together. I really wanted them to send me the right fan, I'm a bit anal about getting products as advertised. Am I missing something?

Pretty sure the new P180s come with 25mm-thick fans all around. The 38mm fans were far too noisy (bearing noise) compared to the rest of the thinner fans. You're better off the way it is now.

Gives you a little more room for your PSU's rats nest so as not to interfere
with the fan blades, but it tends to get removed{depending on PSU}more often then not:p

Thanks guys! I was a little put off by the way the guy responded and closed the ticket so fast, which made me think that they might all come like that now. I'll play with it and see if it serves me better down there or as the intake for the upper chamber.
Old revision P180 = gpu duct, solid pci slots, and 38 in the lower.
New revision = no gpu duct, open pci, and 25 in the lower
I prefer the older revision.

What power supply do you have? Chances are you won't even need a fan down there. Removing it will give you a lot of room for wire management.

I bought the ST50EF-Plus. Think I can put the fan in the top and have two hard drives stay cool in the bottom?

Yeah. The power supply alone will move a bit of air through that area. Just try to keep things open enough for air to flow through.
