View Full Version : Xigmatek Elysium Super Tower Review
Here lately I have been going out of the normal and reviewing a few things other than PSU's. Today is no exception, as I am going to be taking a look at a brand new case from Xigmatek, the Elysium. The first thing that one should notice about this case is its massive size. It is geared toward the XL-ATX Form Factor for boards like the EVGA X58 Classified 4-Way SLI. The Elysium offers several features that cater to a power hungry configuration.

Impressive case. HAF X and Obsidian have some tough competition now.

Interesting, always more to learn. Devil always in the details. Thank you.

It's a good review but the window is ridiculous. Cover up all the good parts and leave us staring at the cables... Definitely would only order the non-windowed version.

It's not clear from the description and I'm too lazy to search the manual for it.
Is this case capable of holding SSI EEB (12.0" x 13.0") or MEB (16.2" x 13.0") form factors? These are used by Dual Socket G34 or Quad Socket G34 motherboards, like these ones below for example:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813151219
From the pictures it looks like it should support at least the first, the SSI EEB but I'm not sure if it has the screw hole in place...

Motherboard Support - Extended ATX, SSI CEB/EEB, XL-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX
Thats from the specifications. So the SSI EEB is covered. Not sure on the MEB though, I will see what I can confirm.
Got word today that the Elysium does not support the MEB.

I know this is an older thread that i'm bumping, but anyone got availability on this case? If its $200 shipped I want it. Non-windowed.
Great review btw (though you need some grammar editing ;) ). I emailed xigmatek and got no reply at all. Nothing at newegg or amazon about it either. The review is a month old, but still no word on when we can buy it?
EDIT: Only place I see online is caseking.de (germany) with estimated arrival in stock June 6th! Just over 2 weeks. Hopefully this will be US release as well :)
I''ll check with my contact to see what he says.

Fantastic, I appreciate it :) I am hoping these things are already half way across the pacific on a freighter from china or something at this point.
Boat should land by the end of the week they hope.

Hate to pester you about this, but do you know where it'll be available? Newegg, amazon, etc?
At this point Im not sure. He was leaving just as I caught him this morning. I will ask once I see him on again.

Well, the cases are on shore, and here is the reply I finally got from xigmatek:
Hello Mr. XXXXXXX
The Elysium just arrived in stock. I am not exactly sure of the release date. I don’t believe we supply Amazon but I suggest to inquire with Newegg regarding if and when they will have the Elysium in stock.
Sincerely,

I think this is the windowless version. $250 shipped? OUCH. Was hoping for $199 shipped :(

Yeah, i just noticed it says "With Side Panel Window: Yes"
I guess this is decent. I was told $199 for no side window. I suppose i'll wait for a deal. At least it can be had now!
