Seems they delt with the ripple issue and that there is a new player in the uber-quiet 600W catagory.
Are we to accept being called Guruvians, Cad?

Wow this one's based on the Epsilon 600W? I'm glad they got rid of the ripple issue, but how did they do it? What are the parts that were changed? I supposed probably some caps? I remember someone else in the forums was gonna go about changing the caps too...wonder what happened to that endeavor?
Also, if this is based on the Epsilon 600W, how come the combined +12V rail is only 504W while FSP has theirs at 580W? I also believe that FSP upgraded the current ratings of each of the +12V rails from 15A to 18A, while the Zalman "only" does 16A...a more conservative rating?
And "guruvian" sounds peruvian :P

You are correct on the revised ratings;)

The first sentence of the linked review uses Guruvians :P
Sounds like something out of Star Trek.

Great review as usual....though I think we should all chip in to buy Jonny a new camera with a proper focus adjustment. ;)

That Canon got stolen last month. I never did like how it couldn't take close up shots (even in macro mode.)
Now I have a Cybershot I'll be trying my hand at. :D

While I don't want to threadjack, I have found all of my Powershots have done great in Macro mode. The one think I can't stand about Canon cameras is that they INSIST on having the flash go off in order to take a good looking picutre.
I know that Hilbert over at Guru3d takes all his pictures with a Cybershot and they always look amazing.

Yeah, well you can turn the flash off on the Canon, but then the pics look all grainy. So far I'm happy with the Sony, but I haven't done anything serious with it.

So does this break the running trend of FSP Epsilons landing in Tier 3 of the reccomendations list and get all the way into Tier 2 or............?
Good review. That PSU sounds pretty darn nice.
