Any RF and EMI filtering can help.

But at those prices?

yeah I tend to think it's gimmickry too but that's not based on any actual knowledge of the components. Seems like the "motherboard stabilizer" is simple enough that any modern "quality" psu wouldn't need it or would incorporate it, and even so the motherboard VRM has the final say in voltage stability anyway. I don't even know what to think about the "graphics card protector" but a 20ish amp limit on a connector with a 6.5a limit doesn't sound like the best possible protection. <shrugs>

Not sure that I get it...there's nothing at all in the coolmax "stabilizer/protector" or whatever they call it? Not even a fuse? For $20 was it? lol what a rip-off

Yep.

It adds what Topower already put on all of their PSU's: A ferrite core to reduce EMI and RF and a set of small caps to reduce ripple. That's it.

hmm boy the topower's are quite the little bargain then ;)

i better not say stuff like that...somebody is apt to believe it...
