He dings it for 3.3V and 5V regulation, but what kind of system would need 22A each on those rails @1200W? Sure they aren't as well behaved as the 12V rail, but it's just not a realistic scenario. They do just fine under reasonable loads.

Isn't James Napier that actor that was in the Power Rangers Movie?
Anyhoo... I've heard from a lot of manufacturers that they actually like the craziness in Wolf's writing. Certainly it's a formula wanna bes are going to want to latch on to.

That's good, 'cause I think I broke the crazy amplification knob trying to turn it down once.

3 of the TV shows if I remember. Bless having little ones to watch; and excuse to kick back and watch the TV you grew up with.

I've only witnessed ONE person actually not like the Oklahoma Wolf style.
Though; I do admit, sometimes you need to spread yourself apart from others; and make your writing unique.
Hardware Secrets & Hard|OCP reviews can sometimes be troubling to read as they're packed with information (especially the HWS unit autopsies) which puttin that much info on the brain makes ya wanna go :wall::fire:
But Wolf's style is almost like a weekly Podcast; it's informative, but entertaining.

They're out there. Doesn't bother me at all - you have to have a thick skin and just go ahead and write anyway if you want any success at all out of writing.

Well like I saw (and I know you saw too) he did say "I still love the Info JG presents with PSU reviews"
So at the end of the day it's always worth it.

I have to say that Jim's reviews look a lot less like OW ripoffs than they used to. His loading graphs were basically a direct copy. Guess he's still not entirely original though.

Do you mean writing style? Look at this:
For many years Wattage has been the male penis extension.
Bad grammar and a horrible opening.
Whether it be in the form of insanely loud car audio systems that you need ear plugs to operate, heavily modified car engines being measured in KW on a rolling road, or that unnecessarily high output PC power supply you purchased for your 486 DX2.
And this, above, well, it's a horribly long fragment.
He's a horrible writer, in comparison to OW, imo. I read a bit further but, I really couldn't stand much more of this guy's terrible writing skills. So, maybe the review got better? I don't know.
Anyway, for me, I enjoy OW's witty sense of humor and his entertaining approach to reviewing PSU's. Do I understand what he's talking about? Well, sometimes. But, nevertheless, he, OW, is a good writer.
You know, my father used to say to me, "son, some people are going to like you and some people will not." So, with regards to OW's style of writing, I'm sure that he'll have folks that like him and folks that will not. But, since I like him, and his way of doing his reviews, that's all that matters, right? :D

You should see my first novel. 704 pages and 190,000 words of cliched, derivative, poorly written fantasy hogwash.

You mean a Star Wars Novel written in a world that wishes it was a decent rip off of Tolkein?

Exactly.
I firmly believe there is only one way to even watch the movie - with Rifftrax commentary.
