Sounds like a personal problem too me:p
Anyhoo,
My KHX is really starting to flake at anything higher then 271Mhz@2.75V:mad:
I need something that's comfortable at 280Mhz+@2.8+ and not have to worry about my timings being too tight;)
I remember the OCZ PC4200EL & PC4400EL Gold, but I can't seem to find it for sale, anywhere:mad: {I know, limited edition}
A buddy of mine wants my shit ram:p so I'll have some flo to play with:D
Any sugestions?
If at all possible, I want to break 300Mhz, or whatever breaks first:p
All comments are welcomed:D
buy DDR600 ram?
I think your best luck would be samsung TCCD (2.5-3-3 or 2.5-4-3, rated for 250 from the factory) or Micron (every stick of micron I've seen will do 3-3-3-8 at at least 280. Most break 300.)

PC4800 is nice, but pricey, thats why I'm "settling" for less;)
The OCZ PC4400 will do 275Mhz out the box at 2.8V

Nothing against you, but I woulden't run another stick of Corsair if you paid me:p Thats why I'm running KHX now:o

Don't even get me started on Corsair:mad:
I love their PSU's, but I will never run any model Corsair memory in "my" rig.
I bought a set of XMS Pro3200{not the C2}2x512 a few years ago, total
shit with my Northwood :wall: I thought mabey I had some frelled chips, so
I sold them off too the nearest sucker and got a set of TWINX 3200, a lot
more stable, but they died at the 248Mhz finish line:eek: :wall:
So I RMA'ed them and thought mabey I needed faster memory, purchased
the TWINX again, but in PC4000 flavor and 2GB:D But..... the mobo I had at the time
MSI 875P-Neo, would "not" play nice with those chips:wall:
I traded them for the KHX PC4000 I have now:o :p
And I've used those chips on 4 different mobo's since, OC'ed way too high ;)
and I haven't had one ounce of grief from them untill today:mad:
Strange, sounds like my experience with Kingston.
First pair of KHX 3200: Would not boot with less than 2.8v, at ANY latencies. Of course, my board maxed out at 2.8 at the time.
Second pair: Would not run properly at timings tighter than 2.5-4-4-10 2t 2.9v. Sticks were rated for 2-3-2-6 1t 2.6v
Third pair: Does not run properly at 1T command rate. Rated for 1T.
Never again.

I guess it's the luck of the "batch":p
Not quite as bad as my experience with G.Skill though. ZX kit.. first pair randomly restarted frequently, so I went back to the place after one week, got a replacement. Second pair, not as many, but same deal. lather, rinse, repeat. 5 more times. Then I RMA'd it to the G.Skill HQ, they sent me back another kit. Which I didn't even open, I traded it straight away for some Ballistix which I sold for the Kingston.
