here reveiwed (http://www.planet3dnow.de/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=378754), interesting that it doesn't look like other Huntkey made LC-Powers.
Is this unit still a Huntkey?

It doesn't look like other Huntkey made LC-Powers because it's not a Huntkey. ;)
Not sure who it is right this minute.
I do like the recessed fan grill though. Looks cool.

Yes, that fan grill does indeed look very nice, I've seen it on some FSP made Units like the Sharkoon Silent Storm...

It's made by Greatwall.

Not a bad platform, but the heatsink on bridge rectifier is missing in the LC-Power.

Yeah, I'm very happy to see such cheap 'things' reviewed.
Planet3dnow did test some other crap -> here a 750W Combat Power (http://www.planet3dnow.de/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=373122&garpg=8#content_start) (annyone knows the manufacturer?) with abot 50-70% Efficiency.
And here some other crap (http://www.planet3dnow.de/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=361083) like Linkworld, LC-Power 420W, Casecom.
Luckily I live in the European Union Zone, so I expect that there won't be such crap available in 5 to 10 years...
They also banned PSUs over (AFAIR) 75W without PFC, the 'EuP' (1W standby) guideline (or directive?) may take care of utterly crap PSUs...
I expect that they extend it to the working efficiency.

Unfortunately even with PFC and efficiency standards, there's still plenty of ways to make a crappy psu. Not that hard to cut corners, have bad soldering, bad parts, etc. Still the best policy is getting something known to be good in the first place...

After all, leadman/sunpro offers PPFC in all their models as well as APFC add-on boards for most of their models.
It's only $1.90 for leadman/sunpro to add PPFC to any model and $3.30 to add APFC (400W and under,) and $6.60 for anything above 400W.

I agree, I only have 2 systems that need higher power PSUs and they already both have Enermax modular PSUs in them.
How about reviews on something cheaper that's more suitable for an older system or one without a gaming graphics card?

How about the budget Seasonic unit he just reviewed?

520 watt does not say low power\budget to me.
I don't know for sure but I just bought a Corsair 400CX which I bet is cheaper.
Besides, total overkill for what I have in mind, like a Dual P3 or Athlon XP machine etc.
Seasonic S12 II Bronze isn't even sold in New Zealand anyway

He reviews what he gets. I'm sure Wolf wouldn't object to reviewing a sample if you decide to buy one for him, but other than that, what you see is what you get.
