View Full Version : What's the visual difference between Enesol and Teapo polymer caps?

In these two DSG-based units, Tt TPX-775 and GP-AX950AA, the OEM CWT has thrown in a couple of polymer capacitors.

GP-AX950AA (http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story4&reid=176)
Here OKW commented that polymers on VRM card appeared to be Enesol ones (Enesol RLL series).

TPX-775 (http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story4&reid=182)
Here OKW commented these caps on main board and VRM card were from Teapo.

I didn't see any visual difference between those caps. I think they're all Enesol's, but there's no clear sign of the manufacturer. I need help identifying these polymers, red/blue/pink/purple/whatever color.

I think they are all enesol's too.

Teapo uses a bit darker pinkish-whatever color, and they put the capacitance on the top, voltage in the middle immediately followed by the series, then at the bottom the date code. Like this:

Enesol does it a bit different:

I have networking problem to the capacitor webpage here. I love that website.
