You will do just fine with the HX520, unless you have money too burn and
like having more power then you need, go with the HX620;)

LOL!
In your first post, he Corsair was the easy pick.
But I can't suggest against the Seasonic or Thermaltake either.
I guess if modular isn't important to you, you could take the Seasonic off the list as it's not modular while the other two are.

I'm with Cad on this one big time. Look in our Hot Deals Forum. Then go to Buy.com via the linked ad on our home page *big thumbs up*

Just wanted to say I have the same power supply and thanks to JG's advice and some modding of the pin connectors it works fantastically well with the 8800gtx's in sli. So you can keep it for a little while longer as it's still up to the job. Unless your power supplys dead then you probably do need a new one :)

For me it's not important if PSU is modular or no...
i want a good PSU with a long life (for quality)
My TT purepower 680W is dead after 9 months :( :( :(
Definitely among:
Corsair HX 520 (i read that 520 is more silent than 620?)
TT TP 750w modular
or
SeaSonic S12?
you, Jonny...What would you choose?

You're talking about isolated incidents. Not an inherent characteristic of the power supply.

same position as you, HX520=116 HX620=161 (Belgium)
If was to buy one today I'd go for 520w myself, but I'm going to lie down and wait. Once prices drop a little, or with other options like Ultra's join to the fray. (real reason being: if I buy psu now, I'm still can't afford rest of intended setup)
