Hey guys I'm new to the forums here. I just have two questions regarding my new silverstone PSU.

1. Is this 600 watt model going to be enough for my setup?
C2D E6400 @ 3.2ghz
Coming soon: Single 8800gtx (probly OC)
1 SATA HD
2 DVD drives
Zalman 9500
Armor case with all fans used
X-Fi card

2. Since the 8800 uses two PCI connectors... should I use connectors from both the 12v3 and 12v4 rails or just two connectors from a single one. i.e only the 12v3.

1. I'd pass on that. It's enough, but there are better options now. Try the Silverstone ST56ZF, or a Corsair HX 520.
2. See question one: Both of those are single railed, so no problems there.

I have an Enhance ENS-0560G, this is the ST60F because Enhance builds the Strider and Element series for Silverstone.
The ST60F has two PCI-e. Look it up at http://www.silverstonetek.com/
I bought this unit because of how clean & stable the rails are and at the time it was $99 from eWiz.com.
jonny was crazy impressed with how stable&clean the 12V was when he reviewed it.

The Corsair would be a very good unit for $88 ATM from buy.com at Google check out. Look into our Hot Deals Forum for linkage.

The ST56ZF is built by Etasis and rates very high but will not be as quiet as the Corsair. The Corsair has a better thermal fan control and better efficiency than the ST60F.

NOTE: jonny just reviewed the ST75F (750W) and it is built on the same platforn as the ST60F, it just passed his tough testing. Given that fact, the ST60F is a good unit if you want/need full modular.

I always heard www.buy.com is a very shady reseller though... Their ratings are pretty bad, in general.

Ok, I re-read your first post, it appears you have the psu in right now:

1. Yes, more than plenty
2. I would try them both from one rail first. It should have enough juice without OCP kicking in.

Shady? No. I've used them plenty of times as they've often had the lowest price on retail box goods (software, printers, etc.) Never a problem.

I think they're often scored low because they don't really have customer service that goes out of their way to serve you. I think of buying from Buy.com like buying from Walmart.com or BestBuy.com.

I suppose that's why they've always almost exclusively handled retail box product in the past. If you have a warranty issue beyond DOA, you're not going to call the vendor.
