Seasonic M12D 850W

So after a lot of research I got the M12D 850W, hook it all up, flip the switch to 1 and it emits a super high pitch not real loud continuous screech. I think "maybe it will go away after a power on-off" I turn my computer on and it gets super feint. Power down and it is almost inaudible. But it annoys the hell outta me because I don't want to hear anything out of my brand new supposedly super silent PSU.

Should I just send it back? Or is it possible I have something connected wrong?

Are you sure it is the PSU and not the videocard...if it is the PSU, RMA it.
