I have this model here (http://www.palit.biz/main/vgapro.php?id=628) which is Xpertvision branded (it's Palits European division). The cooler is quite solid and big, and the highest temp I've seen during the summer months is 60C under load. The fan is relatively silent (I can't hear it), but only after the driver has loaded. Before that the fan seems to run at full speed. I bought it in April '08 and never had any issues with it.

I have no idea about the Inno3d though.

The only Inno3d I've ever bought was a GeForce 2 Ti years ago. After the fan went out on it during the warranty period it only registered half of it's RAM.

I contacted the company for a RMA and while they said they'd honor the warranty, they said I'd have to pay shipping and to ship it to Taiwan. This was maybe in '03 or something though so this may have changed.

Even with it registering half of it's RAM,.. the card still worked though somehow. Not as well but it did.

Personally, I'd go with Palit. I have never used an Inno3d card, but I have read lots of online stuff about Inno3d. Judging from what I've read, their cards are average to below-average quality. On the other hand, my personal experiences with Palit have all been very solid. I've installed maybe 8 or 10 Palit video cards in systems over the past 18 months or so, and have had ZERO issues. And as a previous owner of a 9600GT (by Asus) I can definitely say the card is an excellent value! The price-to-performance ratio (aka bang-for-the-buck) is awesome. I bought the 9600gt when it was brand new on the market and paid over $150US for it, and never regretted it. Now that they retail under $100US, I can easily say it is probably the BEST value in video cards today.
