According to Jonny's review the Silverstone ST75ZF has a 20+4 pin but the picture clearly shows it to be a 24 pin with no 4-pinconnector. There have been numerous posts to the contrary on NCIX:

I just got one into my posession that a client had shipped directly in from Silverstone which is a Rev. 4 power supply and it has the 4-pin. I have noticed that PCPerspective has a 4-pin break out as well on theirs as well:

Even Silverstone's website lists it as 24-pin:

What gives?

Topower has a patent on the "break-away" connector. Every PSU manufacturer has had to pay Topower for every 20+4 or 4+4 they use on a power supply. Odds are, they probably just got tired of paying Topower.
My take?
Who cares? If you have a motherboard that has a 20-pin ATX connector on it, then you DO NOT need this power supply. The 20+4 was a good idea when we were transitioning from Socket A boards to Socket 939 or from Socket 478 to 775, but that's history now.

Thanks for the info. Topower must be making a killing off of that. Maybe thats why the Darkpower has a different setup.
I see now that the "older" Zeus models have the 20+4 pin so your point makes even more sense now.

Not to mention you can either use an adapter or plug directly from a 24pin PSU into a 20pin motherboard if need be.

Do you know where to get hold of one of those 24/20+4 adapters in the uk? im "probably" ordering the ST75ZF asap and i could do with one.

I believe that Silverstone was providing them if you contacted them.

I'm sorry I missed this last month when it was relevant but the Darkpower series is built by Topower so it'd figure that they'd not be paying themselves for the use of their proprietary connector. Ya never know though...

It depends on the motherboard but if there is nothing in the way, like caps, coils or ports, the extra four pins can just be hung off the end of the 20 pin port ATX connection. Simple, no extra wiring or adapter connections.

Ahh what the hell i caved in and ordered the Silverstone Zeus ST56ZF instead of the above 750 watter :D
and i also ordered the 24 /20+4 (http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=204562) pin connector too from www.scan.co.uk (http://www.scan.co.uk) just incase i need the extension.
