Error in Mushkin Hp-550 Review?

I was reading over the Mushkin review and noticed that the label on the power supply says "XP-550" while the review's title says HP-550.

Can someone clear this up for me? :confused:

That's funny. I never noticed that. :)

But how is that an error in the review? The box says "HP" and the label says "XP." That's an error in the label.. not the review. ;)

They are all the HP550. Our marketing guys made a mistake and ordered it as XP550. But these are our low end PSU. We will have a 550 with pfc and higher efficiency but that is not due for 1 month.


My unit is NOT an XP-550. If it was... well... that would be sad. ;)

I named your site and a few others as having the most in-depth and trusted reviews. He is supposed to contact you about reviewing a few more Mushkin PSUs. Or the OTHER Mushkin PSU.

Anybody marketing the HP-550 as an enthusiast unit and "singing its praises" is not revealing the whole picture. Simply put, the unit Jon reviewed was garbage. No amount of spin will change that.
