It's the one I'm using in BLUE >__<

The case looks really good but the aluminum luster seems to be wearing out. I paid $175 (DIRECTRON) for mine when it came out 3yrs ago.

This is the main reason why I'm going with the Corsair psu bcuz it's a 3 window case or else I would have gotten a 5150gh (non-modular and unsleeved) and settle it at that. Looks costs money I guess LoLz.

What I don't like about the case is that it runs on 4x80mm fans where I would prefer 120-40z instead.

P.S. They used to sell this at CompUSA,

I'm more than happy to answer any questions u have on it.

Oh hey... I know that case. It used to be sold by Kingwin. I guess Super Flower bought the mold. I know it was up for sale for a while. I think it was built by Skyhawk.

It's actually pretty decent build quality. Fairly heavy aluminum. The problems with it are it's size (it's shallow and narrow) and the 80MM fans. And the case is too narrow to modify it for a 120MM on the back. Believe me.... I've already tried.

Actually, Super Flower makes the new Kingwin Mach 1 600W modular PSU. I wonder how it performs....

Off topic! :)

True. Back on topic, Super Flower and Kingwin work together on nearly all of Kingwin's products. The only concerns I would have about this case is the noise generated by 5 80mm fans and the fact that the front 80mm fan doesn't have a filter. The amount of dust sucked in by a front mounted fan is shocking.

Other than that, it seems to be a good case with some extra bangs and whistles that set it apart from generic cases. If this case is a good price (read:cheap), I would suggest you pick it up. Just don't expect miracles with build quality and finish.

How much would one of those molds cost?

LOL
I know all about this case, I bought one about 3 years ago from a Marketpro
show when it was called the Colorful 600:lol:
My server is in this case:p
I have the black one without the top window, and I did mod the rear 80mm
fan spot to fit a 120mm, not to well.
Mine came packed with 5 colorful fans, hence the name Colorful.
It now has 5 Delta 80mm's and I cant stand the front filter, every 2 weeks it gets clogged.
For you guys who told me to pass, too late, 3 years too late:lol:
This was a trick question, but it does have good airflow, even with my TP 430
in it;) and I can fit up to 10 drives in it, but I am impressed with you guys, you didnt really shoot it down as bad as I thought you would:)

$20K new. But for a case fab that's selling off an old mold, maybe $5 to $10K.

Don't diss my beloved case >_<

I admit the 4x 80mm fans are a turn off but back then it wasn't that common. The design was pretty good. It received alot of good reviews as everything was thumb screws, aluminum, windowed, large internal hdd cage, and good air flow.

I believe the case is originally a Super-Flower because only Directron sold it at the time I bought it. 3 months later it was sold as a Kingwin in NewEgg. Not many mid tower cases could hold so many hard drives being an aluminum case with 3 windows.

I love my case and back then the cooler masters and lian-li's were def $200+. The Antecs were still building steel cases and behind in times as I recall but don't quote me on it hehe ^_^
