What do you say about this? One of my friends bought this for his computer, and it somehow ran dual 8800GTS's. Not sure how, but it did.

I peeked in there when he changed it out (for a PC P+C silencer 750W thankfully,) and it is a lesson in cost cutting. BH branded caps and Canicon primaries, small heatsinks, almost no input filtering, 450W continuous, and 575W max? HUH? That's a rather large leap.
UL certification sticker, but no UL number either, hmm...

Logisys = utter crap. I'm surprised that it did not melt in a few hours.

Mediocre at best

Tech Level Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 week to 1 month
Pros: Does up to about 250W cleanly.
Cons: Blew up after 324.4 watts. Ripple was off the charts, 120mV at some points, which means you fried any SSD's, flash drives, ram, and probably your cpu, too. Canicon primary capacitors, and BH secondary capacitors (if you know anything about electronics you know those aren't the most reputable brands) small heatsinks for supposedly enough silicon to even do the 450w continuous. Group regulation, non-active pfc, virtually no input filtering. UL certification logo, but no UL number, hmmm...was able to identify the OEM as youngyear, though. Also not very reputable.

Gotta tell em' the truth. The one I am talking about in the forum was the one in the guys computer, the one that blew up in the test (with some decent testing equipment, the friend with these psu's is a tech at Leer and has about everything computer related under the sun) was one of two he had in some crap computer he made to use at the lan party to run cod4.

I'm working on it, lan party is only every 2 weeks, and it was this sunday, so got some waiting to do unless I go over there sometime this week.
