The Rosewill died the night before last, while I was sleeping:mad:
So I have no idea what happened when it went.
I walked into the office and saw the rig was down.
I thought mabey I had a surge or something. I tried to restart it, no dice.
Hooked a meter to it, no one home.Tried another PSU in it's place,
instant boot.
The only sound I ever heard out of this PSU, was some sreeching towards the end{I thought it was the intake fan}
I cracked her open, expecting to see soot, but no smell, black scorching
or trace melting, caps look good, can't tell with the Teapos,
So I took out the PCB and butchered the wires so I could have a look see.
Still looks normal:mad:
Can ya'll tell me how to tell what caused this unit to fail{Rosewill comments
witheld}
Here are some pics{fair quality}

look at your fuse, it deffiently looks burnt out. first thing id do was replace the fuse.
but before even started testing the psu again, id suggest look at the bungs of the capacitors to see if any are bulging, since none of the vents seem to be bulged.
keep in mind though, capacitors can fail without any visible signs, also, failed capacitors most of the time wont prevent a power supply from turning on, it will only cause horrible ripple.

its just that, glue.
used to keep the components in place and to prevent them from vibrating. all psu's have that.

Like the Antec SP/TP, that that unit is filled with Fujyuu caps on the secondary side. Look to see if any have vented from the bung (cap at the bottom), this will cause tilting. In the last pic one little guy is tilted but it was probably installed that way. Sight down the sides to look for bulging.
Unlike Teapos, Fujyyus will generally show phyical signs of failure.
The large bulk cap and the Teapo primaries should be w/o issue.
Hey!! Someone cut the harness! That's the problem...Gremlins :p

LOL,
The fuse "was" good because that was the first thing I checked and replaced.
Didn't think I would have to post that:p
Sorry about the pics, if you want them back, just yell

Definitely re-upload them... Just shrink 'em down or something.
I'm at 1280 x 960 and scrolling left, right, up, down... not good considering I haven't had my 1st beer of the evening yet.
