Hi all, help me please!
My PC specifications:
Mobo: Abit IS7
Processor: Pentium 4 HT 2.4 GHz
RAM: 1.25 Gb, consisting of 3 DDR1 pieces (2x512Mb Kingston KVR + 1x256Mb Kingston KHX)
VGA: Winfast A6600GT AGP 128-bit 128 MB DDR
HDD: Maxtor 80 Gb + WDC 80 Gb PATA
ODD: Pioneer DVR-112 + Plextor PX-W1610A
PSU: FSP Saga 400 Watts
Fans: 4 units of 8cm casing fans + 1 additional slot-type 8cm fan
OS: WinXP SP2
I don't overclock my PC, but I've been getting frequent blue screens, most of them saying: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
I tried:
- replacing VGA with Elsa Synergy4 380XGL
- removing the KHX 256 Mb Kingston RAM
- swapping pieces of DDR to other RAM slots
After some tests, I found that the VGA cards were okay, and the problem was the damaged Kingston KHX memory.
But it didn't stop there. After removing that RAM, the blue screens still occured, but not as frequently as before.
BIOS Health Status:
CPU Core 1.45 V
DDR 2.59 V
AGP VDDQ 1.53 V
DDR VTT 1.28 V
ATX +3.3V 3.23 V
ATX +5V 4.99 V
ATX +12V 11.85 V
Just wondering whether my PSU is damaged too.
Any help very appreciated.
