Don't get me wrong, but I love my P180:D It's just I wish Antec would had put more thought into the panels. I totally dig the layout tho. Which made me
consider buying something along the same lines as the P180, but better
materials.

This will be my last case for awhile{as I'm sick of having to buy new ones}
So I plan on dropping some dough on this one;)

I can get it $30 cheaper from some where else, but the Egg has some nice pics.
I like it because it's a P180 with a better skin and dual PSU support and better hard drive arrangement on the bottom tier:D

Thought's?

Looks nice, but if you want more space I'd check this one out too:

But if size is an issue, I'd stick with your current choice. I just like big cases :)

There is a PC-A10 thread in the Cases & Cooling Forum over at AnandTech, this link was posted.
http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=92196 Hexus is a decent Brit hardware review site.:cool:

GY,
That's the only thing I don't like about this case, verticle PSU placement:mad:

Slarti,
I looked at the 2100plus, If I was going bigger, that would be the one;)
I'll only go that big when my server out grows it's SF Colorful 600, 2 more
drives and it's too big for it's britches:p

Sanyo Denki says that a fan needs clearence equal to it's width on the suction and discharge sides inorder to operate unrestricted.
So if the 120 fan clears the case by 25mm, all should be OK. It does look like that case would favor PSUs with 80mm fans.

My ST85ZF with it's internal 80mm should be fine then:D
I like how you can bundle up the snake's nest of wires from the PSU and
hide them on the bottom in front of the PSU:)
That will come in handy with the Zeus:p

I bought a PC-A10B 2 weeks ago. I liked the Silverstone and Antec ones, but the Silverstone is too deep and curvy while the Antec is to cramped and isn't 100% aluminum.

The first thing I did was remove the stock wiring (it's a bad habit I do to every case) and added a pair of Bulgin switches to a stock 5.25" bay cover. My ST60F's ATX and 8 pin cable reach my motherboard w/out needing extensions and with video cards needing more and more power, the ability to use 2 PSUs might come in handy. It's the first time I've seen a case and was not able to stop thinking about it, kinda like when you've just met your next girlfriend.

It's roomy and I love it to pieces. I had a PC7 Plus before this, but always used to fantasize about other cases, especially the Silverstone TJ03 and the LL G70. Since I've gotten this case, I haven't even looked at another! I'm planning to de-rivet the secondary 2 disk HDD holder and add water cooling, but I'm still waiting on parts.

I'm sure you'll love it too! :)

I won't be able to get one till after X-mas:mad:
If you don't mind, how are the case temps on the upper tier, durring gaming?
My P180 temps:
Idle=29C
Load={Q4 MP 8 hours,room temp 78F}37C :o

What are the better temp monitoring programs? I'm not normally one for taking temps unless I'm obsessed about something. Luckily I haven't been obsessed in a while.

My ASUS PC Probe says my mobo (an ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe) temp is 46° which can't be right because it always says that. It also claims my CPU temp is 24° and that's wrong because it's lower than ambient (my roommate is a female and has a need for heat, so the heater is always on which means it has to be in the upper 80°s F). Also, I've got the top fan (a Vantec Stealth rated at 53 CFM) as an intake, but there's no exhaust at the moment.

I'll report if I can figure out what all of my temps are :confused:

You will not be dissapointed. Once you have had Lian Li, you cannot go back. The quality, the finish, the sheer clean style they have. Just no match for overall case excellence. I have had my PC75B for a year now, and even though it is 6 x 80mm fans, I know I made the right choice. They even include a little screw driver for you to screw in the mobo standoffs!

CAD: I know, I know. Then again, I'm poor :(
GY: I have one already. I was just "teasing" (ie: Gimme the p180 or the computer gets it)
jG: CM Stacker 830, it looks like.

Lian Lis are really nice, but way above my budget. Right now I'm considering between a basic Stacker STC-01 and the Casetek 1022-5. Leaning towards the latter since it's quite a bit cheaper.

I'm a bit burned out on Lian Li. Talk about the Bose of computer cases. Really, other than excellent workmanship, what does a Lian-Li give you? They often lack a lot of the "cool" features and don't really "pop" in the aesthetics department.

They're a very good quality case. I've had three. But I can't justify the cost anymore.

For a good alternative to Lian Li check out the Silverstones. I've got a TJ09 in my floor that's simply awesome. The build quality is far and above any Lian Li I've seen.

I think I can say the same about Silverstones. In fact, I think some of the Silverstones are even worse. The quality and layout doesn't seem to be as good as Lian Lis but they cost about the same. I don't really like the 80mm fans that they use instead of larger, slower, quieter 120mms. It looks like a dated design. I guess it's aluminum is really expensive. That's why I'm sticking with SECC.

Edit: I take that back about the Silverstone TJ09. That's a real good looking case with a nice layout and DEEP. It's pretty new so I didn't know about it. I've seen the TJ-03 which is also very deep, but I don't like the dual 80mm exhausts. The TJ06 almost hits the sweet spot, but it's not nearly deep enough for me. I hate having to deal with long graphics cards almost hitting the drive bays. I would really like the TJ09, but it's like double my budget, so unless I strike the lottery, it's still out of my reach.

This is what I'm using:

http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=907&redirect=yes

It's actually made by YCC and imported into the EU by Akasa. I have the YCC version, which has a door (meh...)

Ultra is going to start importing them into the US next year. I think they're just thinking about what to call it right now. :)

It's the same grade aluminum as a Lian-Li, but it's deep and wide, comes on casters has a HUGE PSU bay (that doesn't like the Enermax Galaxy, BTW) and doesn't break the bank at $140.

Interesting case, I hope Ultra goes for a more attractive fascia, that one's kind of bland....I'm still a huge fan of the Aluminus' fascia. If it just had the front panel connectors on the side of the case fascia it'd be the coolest case front out there IMHO.

I actually read that review while searching for a new case. It doesn't really do it for me though. That line down the right side kinda reminds me of this Inwin mini tower I used to have on my old Pentium.

Now I'm kinda considering the Enermax CS-718 as well. It's definitely a TJ06 in disguise, and it's much cheaper. It's still < 500mm deep, but from the few picture in reviews I've seen where they put 9700/9800 cards in them, there's still a lot of space.

Nope. Same bezel. :)

Just says "Ultra" instead of "Akasa."
