Last week, we saw Antec attempting to reinvent the wheel by introducing a new power supply form factor called CPX. This week, we'll continue our look at this new form factor by examining in detail one of the few cases on the market to support it, the Twelve Hundred.

Isn't I are? Never heard that one before.

I like it & as I don't move systems very often, heavy is not a problem.

How quiet was it & what were the temps like at various fan speeds?

Keep up the Good Work!

It's not the quietest thing you're ever likely to hear, but you can always unplug fans. I haven't really paid much attention to temps, but my Phenom 9600 hasn't gone over 40 degrees in this case yet, overclocked to 2500. Then again, I haven't really pushed it hard either.

The CP-850's fan is barely spinning as I type this.

Antec, Believe It! ? Someone watched too much English Naturo dub when they came up with that motto.

It's a really nice case. I had a 1200 and it was built like a tank, well worth the money.

So it looked like the CP-850 reached everything easily? Seems like you still had an inch or two slack left in the 8-pin.

I'd say more like 3."

i wish it were deeper. height is ok, width i'm not sure, if it were deeper, and had more space, i might consider it ok

It has plenty of space, unless you want to run an eATX motherboard - it doesn't support those, at all, in any way, shape, or form.

I've had my main system in a 1200 for a few months now, and my only major complaints are the dust-filter design and inability to shut off most of the lights (the Monolith gets tucked in at night; as I run it 24/7 in my bedroom, I wrap a blanket around the front and rear fans and leave most of the top fan exposed). Getting it for $132 shipped improved my opinion further.

Oh, and despite the dust filters, there's a thin coating of dead cells on the floor of the case. We've got our share of animals, though, and I haven't dusted in here for a while, so that's hardly the case's fault.
