For their prices and odds are lackluster quality (looking at the byte-better site), I'd put an "avoid" sticker on 'em and call it a day. You have NewEgg in Utah, don'tcha?

compare that WT 575W and this Logisys:

I think those are Youngyear made...avoid.

P.S. btw i can't do anything about my shop, because they laugh at me and think that i care too much about psus.:(

Be happy you know more about them than they do. Are they the type that cleans thermal paste with just a kleenex and then applies more?

the 850w claims to have active PFC, but it has the 115-230v switch on the back. Or at least the picture of it has the switch.

I've been tempted to get one of these for reviewing, just as a lark.

there's a Dana Carvey joke waiting in the wings if you decide it would be prudent to review one.

here's a "review" of the 1000w Prudent way that has some internal shots.

on page 2 of the forum responses, shinji2k appears to have nailed it as a superflower.

The nest response is pretty good.
I can say that it was not "SuperFlower", although by looking at the link you provided that IS certainly the same unit. I believe the company they told me is making these would be the same company who is making the supplies for SuperFlower and Kingwin, looks like for xion as well.
Which would be um SuperFlower or one of their subsidiaries (Fortrex/Forepoint/Focus) or their new facility Jing Hua Co. Funny though, there is another comapny tied up in there that put up some of the capital for SuperFlower.
Oh and MrWicked1968 if you ever make me read anything over at that cesspool of ignorance again I am going poke out your other eye! :p
