Im planning on getting the DA750 to replace my current 750ZF and would cost be about $60 for the upgrade, because i want a more silent 120mm fan vs the 80mm and of course modular.
My system specs
Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz
Abit IP35-E
8800GT 1GB (planning to get a GTX295 or 4870X2 in the future)
6GB-DDR2-800 (2x2GB + 2x1GB)
X-Fi Extreme Music
Samsung DVD+RW 20x
Western Digital 250GB (planning to get a 1 TB in the future)
In regards to single vs multi-rail im not sure but i think it wont be too much of an issue on my side of the fence.
EDIT:
How about the HX850, are they comparable in performance.. i can only find a TX850 and performance is rated at 9.5 w/c is very similar to the 750ZF

No it's not worth a change.

No it's not worth a change.
Why , isnt the DA750 as good as the 750ZF?

You want silence and modular for $60? Well just go ahead and change it.
I just don't find better reason to replace that ST75ZF. Its output is terrific (which DA750 cannot reach) though efficiency isn't up to today's standard (neither is DA750).

Thanks for your opinion.
edit:
btw you said the ST75ZF's out put is terrific and the DA750 cannot reach it, where did you see that comparison as i did a search on the reviews here and no results in regards to the DA750

I still cant find proper reviews on the DA750 compared to the 750ZF, maybe anyone can point me to the right direction ?

DA750's output is either similar to DA850's or to DA700's. Neither can reach ST75ZF's level.

Id like to see the source of this ( if possible )
edit:
NVM, after seeing the DA850 review in this site im totally certain that the 750ZF is even better than the DA850.

You can compare the results of TX850 to ST75ZF(Etasis ET-750).

Based on the reviews here both are at 9.5 so i guess they perform very similar to each other.. but i would like modular.. whats the next best thing to get? as the HX1000 is simply to overkill for my needs..
Silence is the number one concern, performance can drop to 9.0 as per JG ratings.

The performance score is actually price related, so I think you'd better directly compare the regulation and ripple test. Not much difference though.

Im not sure if i fully understand the O-scope results looking at both HX620 and 750ZF, maybe you can assist me?

http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules/NDReviews/images/ST75ZF/Oscope/Test5-5V.jpg
In this test the Vp-p of ripple and noise on +5V output is 30~40mV.
http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules/NDReviews/images/ST75ZF/Oscope/Test5-EPS+12V.jpg
And the ripple and noise on +12V output (Vp-p) is ~80mV.

So each line on the vertical axis represents 20mv of ripple ?

10mV.

10mV.
If its 10mv then your example should have been labeled at 10~20mv and ~40mv, going by your example its 20mv per line on the vertical axis ( the small vertical lines in the middle ).

You don't measure the ripple from the 0 line to the top of the crest, you measure if from the lowest trough to the highest crest...so you need to measure from below the 0 line

Comparing the DA750 with the other modular based PSU's at 750 and at the same price range , could we consider the DA750 as really good in its class?

haven't we already covered that? YES, the DA750 is really good.

No not really, since whats been covered is that the 750ZF has better output.
